Aliza Statman is a licensed graduate professional counselor. She graduated from Loyola College with an M.Ed in School Counseling in 2003. Aliza worked as a school counselor in Baltimore City Public Schools for 16 years, working with students individually and in groups, supporting students and their families with various mental health, personal and behavioral challenges.
Aliza joined the Naomi Center in 2022 and has enjoyed working with children who are experiencing various challenges. Aliza takes a strength based approach and incorporates mindfulness and CBT in a lot of her work. Aliza’s warm and empathic nature allows her to connect and build relationships with children, allowing real change to occur.
